yarn all about it (part 2)
It didn't take me long to figure out that crochet is very much like writing in some ways -- specifically, in the 'current project' vs 'future project' experience.
The project I'm currently working on: hard!
My future project: surely it will be easier! I'll have all this practice done!
Current project: Fun, but so much work! A slog at times.
Future project: Way more fun! My brain is showing me a highlights reel of the best parts.
Current project: slooooooooooow going
Future project: I bet it will go way faster
Current project: This is not turning out anything like how I imagined it
Future project: Only exists in my imagination, so there's nothing to compare it to, and in my imagination it's coming out great!
