happy October!
Oct. 1st, 2023 07:46 am*The giant inflatable pumpkin-headed...creature? person? ghost? is back! It makes the dragon statue in the next yard over look small. Spooky season is here for certain.
*One of my calendars included a spider in the October art. I have covered it with a Halloween card picture of my cat. (This may or may not be enough to limit my exposure to the scary spider. It's possible I will wind up jumping the calendar ahead to November instead. The other pictures in the calendar are awesome enough that I was willing to try dealing with October, but I knew this might be an issue.)
*OH NO IT IS NANOWRIMO PREP MONTH I AM NOT READY
*Favorite part of October: suddenly it is completely acceptable to eat chocolate all the time??? Love this. A gift of the season, truly.
*Also the weather, which is great. Hoodie season is the best season. (Okay, I actually have hoodies for ALL seasons, but fall hoodies have a special extra glow. You can wear them inside for coziness! You can wear them outside as a light jacket! They can have layers under them OR over them! So versatile! AND they have a hood!)
