Time for our first annual chimney inspection! It's possible it won't happen till tomorrow, but probably today? I'm very curious what a chimney inspection involves. Presumably there's an inside element as well as a roof-based element? (Also we have a gas fireplace and not a wood-burning fireplace, and I'm not actually sure how the chimney interacts with that whole situation. It didn't seem like the highest research priority during the June-through-August portion of the year.)

The Big Questions

*Masks: yes or no? (The email said they would wear masks; I want for this to be true, but to be honest I am skeptical.)

*How long will it take?

*Will they manage to show up during the only hour of the day I'm supposed to be on a zoom call for work?
