Things I packed already that I've needed to go searching for (an incomplete list):

*a nice shirt: found! (in the first place I looked; thank goodness for those storage containers with the clear windows)

*a nice t-shirt to wear under the nice shirt: found, but not until the fourth place I looked (I was very systematic about how I packed clothes, it's just that the system doesn't make any sense)

*a small pad of paper: found! (in the first place I looked, because I'd already looked there for the still-missing pens, so I was pretty confident)

*the other cat towel: found, in the second place I looked, which was embarrassing because it's been in plain view this whole time

*all my pens except for the two new ones I bought and the ones I scrounged out of my work bag: not found (they must be around here somewhere!)
