midnight movie

Goin’ to see the Avengers tonight at midnight! I’m excited! However! Last time I saw a midnight showing? I totally fell asleep, *and* it was when I was supposed to be (helping) watch a bunch of kids at a sleepover, and they (of course) thought it was hilarious. I can’t imagine that Avengers will be as boring as Phantom Menace, though. (Right?)

Somehow, possibly due to the boss having a lot of more important things to worry about, we have dubbed today (and tomorrow!) “Superhero T-Shirt Day” at work. Conceptually, this is a chance for customer involvement and bonding with the community. In reality, it is an excuse for me and one of my coworkers (big Avengers fans!) to wear our Iron Man and Captain America shirts to work. In business parlance, a win-win!

I have remained (relatively) spoiler-free about this movie, so I hope I like it! Even more, I hope it is inspiring for all of the awesome fic writers out there!
