not at work today

Have already started fretting about being away from home and work and all my regular schedules. Am firmly reminding myself that I am On Vacation, and will be until Monday afternoon, when I will be home and plan to sneak back to work anyway.

Thank you, Arisia hotel for opening up the stairs and the internet for us! The food is of the more-bacon-less-fruit mentality, so More Exercise has been a good thing.

Important plan for the day: FOOTBALL. (As in, the viewing of, not the playing of.) Also, try not to spend huge-ish amounts of money.

here’s a question

You know how many hooks our hotel bathroom has? One. *One* hook. What is that? Even if there was, say, just me in the room, and I’d only brought *half* the stuff I brought, I would still need more than one hook.

You know how many towels we are currently trying to ‘hang up’ to dry in the bathroom right now? Three. Plus two bathing suits, plus our handy bathroom totes which, you know, are designed to hang on hooks. And it’s not like we couldn’t use even more hooks than that. We’re hanging most stuff on the shower curtain rod, but what if someone actually wanted to use the shower? It would be a hook crisis!

Anyway, that is my suggestion to hotels: more hooks, please!
