useful to know

Back when my job consisted of wearing a white uniform a lot combined with taking notes a lot, my mom taught me a useful tip: to remove ballpoint pen from clothes, apply hairspray.

Now that my job involves pretty much never wearing white, I figured I was safe. But today I was wearing my brand new store logo shirt (first time, of course!) and doing inventory, and bam! Wrote all over myself.

The catch, of course, is that now that we’re doing all this natural stuff, I don’t actually have any hairspray. Which is where my useful to know tip comes in: based on my most recent perusal of the shirt, it looks like alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray works just as well. We’ll see for sure after it comes out of the wash. ::fingers crossed::
