Since I keep saying I’m going to pick this story next, here it is! The title is a quote in and of itself, but I think it’s the Weltschmerz parts that I remember the most clearly.

“He suffers from Weltschmerz, I’m sorry to say. Apparently he feels that it is his destiny to channel the entire world’s pain and suffering.”
