a new record!

Last night I thought to myself, ‘Huh — I should re-read my nanowrimo novel.’ I didn’t, but the thought occurred to me. And only three months after nano — a new record!

Then I thought I might peek at it this morning, but based on past experience, reading my nano novels usually makes me fall asleep, so a morning re-read is probably a poor choice.

(I’m not sure why the falling asleep thing happens. Maybe because I fall asleep a lot while writing them? I just associate them with dozing off? Alternately: they’re very boring.)
