You never know when you’re going to stumble across an amazon.com gem, but this week was a winner for me. For a variety of reasons, I wound up looking at this all weather utility mat. (I’m actually looking for some inexpensive mats to put out on the balcony, but I wanted to explore all options.)

As I was scrolling down, thinking ‘this isn’t exactly what I’m looking for,’ my eye was caught by the review titled “The train horn is a real plus.”

The reviewer continued on to say, “I bought this specifically because of the train horn.” They gave it five stars.

Checking the product description, it does indeed say:

“RoadPro All Weather Utility Mat with Weather Resistant Lining features a 152 decibel 3 trumpet train horn. It is made of all metal chrome plated construction and includes stainless steel mounting hardware.”

The best part is that I didn’t even question it. So I would just like to take a moment to bask in awe of the fact that I live in a world where it is equally plausible that someone is manufacturing a blanket with a train horn in it as that a product listing could be 100% wrong.
