Ah, summer. The heat, the sunshine, the nagging sense that I really should have checked the apartment AC before it was 90 degrees out…

Yesterday there was enough humidity at the end of the day that there wasn’t much point to opening the windows after I got home from work — it wasn’t any cooler outside than in, and I figured I’d just pop on the AC for an hour or two to cool it down.

Which would be when I discovered it’s not actually working right now. The good news is that this means a slightly embarrassing call to the landlord instead of trying to sort out the issue myself. (I’ve already tried the ‘flip the breaker off and on’ trick that worked last year.)
