My adulting chore of the day: lubricate the treadmill belt. Thank goodness for youtube videos, or I’d have no idea whatsoever how to follow the laughably vague directions that came with the machine.

Why lubricate the treadmill belt?

1. It’s easier and faster than actually using the treadmill, but still makes you feel as if you’ve done something useful with your life.

2. The manual says so.

3. The guy in the youtube video also seemed to think it was a good idea.

4. Good opportunity to reduce the amount of cat hair collecting in the nooks and crannies of the treadmill.

5. Because I get a sticker for it, gosh darn it!
