"exciting" milestone
May. 10th, 2018 06:01 amIt's a 5K weekend! After two years of getting lucky with the weather, it looks like it is going to rain on us this time around. My first 5K in the rain! (Will this motivate me to run instead of walk? Nope. Seriously, I jogged across the street yesterday and my knees were like 'aaaaaahhhh what are you doing to us?!?')
ANYWAY! Rain! 3.1 miles in the rain! A milestone I wouldn't have minded putting off, but an exciting one nonetheless.
(Also, the last time I was doing outdoors-y activities in the rain was probably hiking back in 2016. Since this time around I will not be carrying a pack or worried about getting hit by lightning, it will probably be much more fun!)
