fun with clippers #3

Third time not *exactly* the charm, in this situation. I got a little enthusiastic with the around-the-ear attachment on the first side, then figured it made sense to at least have both ears look weird in the same way, so I did my best to match it on the second side.

Good news: it grows back! And I guess it is a logical strategy to try different things each time, to see how they look. Even if it winds up looking a little weird.

To recap, my clipper adventures have gone thusly:

1. Fun! I had no idea what I was doing! I managed to skip a significant portion of the top of my head by not running the clippers side to side as well as up and down.

2. Fun! I thought I knew what I was doing! And then I used the wrong length attachment by accident so everything ended up shorter than I expected.

3. Fun! I sort of thought I knew what I was doing, but was perhaps more doubtful! I was super extra careful with the color-coded length attachments, and then wound up foiled by the ear guards anyway.

I mean, the common theme has been that this is a fun thing to do, and luckily my life does not require my hair to look stellar all the time. I am pretty sure I will get better at this with practice. Or at least I will find new ways to be bad at it?
