marcicat: (penguins sliding)

This fall I learned about Libby, the library app.  It’s great!  I can borrow books virtually, read them on my phone, and then return them.  Really eliminates the challenge of carrying books around.

But it lags SO FAR behind the wonder that is the AO3 search function.  Let’s say I want to read a Christmas romance — I go to Libby, and it says, ‘Do you want to search by author, or title?’  Um, neither?

When I go to AO3 and want to read a Christmas romance, it will give me a list of every fic tagged ‘Christmas’ and ‘romance,’ and then I can narrow it down however I want!  Pick a fandom!  Pick a length!  Add a snowstorm and magic! I love it. Thanks, AO3!
