that sure is something
Jul. 18th, 2019 06:01 amMy work computer has been "upgraded" to Windows 10, which is whatever. But now when I'm online at work (aka all the time), several times a day youtube pops up a little notification window suggesting a video for me.
Based on my recent youtube musical adventures, so far it's always been a Guardian-inspired suggestion, which is fine, but I am inherently unwilling to share this sort of fannish information with my coworkers, and it's not actually uncommon for us to have to log in to our accounts to lead meetings. (Or sometimes just to participate in meetings, if the other people in the room can't remember their login info for the virtual meeting program.)
Can I make these pop-ups stop? Why is the internet tempting me to do non-work things anyway? Why can't my coworkers just write their passwords on a sticky note like everyone else? These are the true questions of a Thursday morning.
