many things are more fun in memories
Jun. 27th, 2020 06:31 amWent to the State Park yesterday! It was great, in the way that adventures often are after you've had enough time to forget the bugs, and the heat, and you can look back and laugh about how there was that one point where you were questioning all the life choices that had led you there. (Okay, maybe a couple points.)
But yes! Great! I have no idea if the park was less crowded than usual, since I don't remember if I've ever gone on a Friday morning before. (Usually the weekends, except now they've closed the back access road on weekends, which I totally get from a crowd management perspective, but if I want to walk the back loop, going in the main entrance would add an extra hour on either end just to walk across the park to get there, which is way, way more ambitious than I'm currently feeling.)
Now the question is -- what will today's adventure be?
