oh yeah, it's all coming together

Sometimes there are things that I am in no way prepared for (like moving!), and yet they're definitely going to happen at a certain time anyway, whether I'm ready or not, which sort of alternates between being terrifying and reassuring, and right now it's reassuring and I'm trying to enjoy the feeling.
Also I'm just really happy that I don't need to shampoo the carpets here before leaving. (The lease says you're supposed to, but because they're renovating the units as people move out, they're just going to rip all the carpet out anyway, and I was told not to bother.) Not that I wouldn't have done it! But still, I'm glad to be able to avoid the logistics of such an endeavor.
