weekend now?
Jul. 29th, 2021 05:59 amThe great thing about switching my weekly grocery trip from Fridays to Wednesdays is that it spread out my car usage -- now I'm using the car Wednesdays and on the weekends, which (so far!) has been enough to keep the battery going without extra effort. Yay!
The less great thing is that my brain is very used to thinking 'time to go buy groceries for next week.' Which doesn't make much sense when you're shopping on a Wednesday. Next week is so far away! Eat the groceries now!
And the funny thing is that I still very definitely connect 'grocery shopping day' with 'last day of the work week.' I've already had to remind myself MULTIPLE times this morning that it is THURSDAY, so I need to log in for work. Not the weekend yet!
