crafting adventures, day 14
Dec. 14th, 2021 05:58 amI'm really looking forward to tomorrow's craft, which is putting beads on a pipe cleaner (aka 'fuzzy stick') and then bending it to look like a candy cane. That sounds hopefully very easy!
Today's craft is making a reindeer using a toilet paper roll, which sounds somewhat less easy. Mostly my hesitation comes from the fact that once you're done, it still definitely looks like you've got a toilet paper roll. One that you've added some decorative features too, certainly, but still -- toilet paper roll. (The last time a craft called for a toilet paper roll, it was just to cut a piece of it to be the base form for the tiny hat.)
My ideas so far:
*Maybe some washi tape would improve things!
*Or I could just do tomorrow's craft!
*I actually have some pipe cleaners left over from previous crafts, so I could probably do tomorrow's craft today AND tomorrow!
*I'm sure I could figure out where my craft supplies are, and do a different base than a toilet paper roll.
*Craft vacation day?
