*Yesterday at work I was present during a zoom conversation about how things would be handled after Lauren leaves. I do not know who Lauren is, or what job they have been doing. (I'm not even 100% sure that's their name. Laura? Laurel? Lorne?) I decided not to mention this during the meeting, since I was unsure if I was supposed to know who they were, and if so, if it was my fault that I didn't.
*Truly, the number of times I've said, 'This is the first time I'm hearing about this,' at work is A Lot. And I try to restrain myself to times when it will not reflect (very) badly on me or my team!
*I do recognize that this is at least partially my own fault. Perhaps in response to the minions continuing to mention 'lack of communication' in their feedback, yesterday the executives sent an email about 'internal processes.' The information was contained in two linked powerpoint presentations, neither of which I opened.
*Should I open them today? Probably. (*Will* I open them today? Who knows?)
