workaday Wednesday
May. 4th, 2022 06:13 amAlso known as 'going to the grocery store Wednesday,' but that just doesn't have the same ring to it. Wednesday is a great day for grocery shopping, for the extremely-specific-to-my-life reasons I will now share for absolutely no reason:
*Breaks up the work week, pleasingly in the exact middle between Monday and Friday.
*Carefully positioned against the weekend to make sure my car gets driven every three to four days. Which is a holdover from before I got a new battery, but it did mostly work, so why change it now?
*It's nice to have a 'usual' day of the week to do certain chores on, because then I don't have to think about when to do them. When should I get more groceries? That'll be Wednesday. No decision-making required! So easy!
