partial success!

The AC Advisor came and went very quickly yesterday, but seemed both competent and not intimidating, AND they said that the new AC unit would indeed fit in the space left when the old AC unit is removed. Nothing was installed yesterday, and I'm still waiting to get a quote and an appointment slot. But I'll call that a win and a step forward!

(Technically, the old unit works. I think. It did last summer? Pretty sure I'm going to find out this weekend when it gets over 90F degrees.)
