Jan. 18th, 2025 08:11 amToday I thought to myself 'I'll write a quick post; it's not going to take long, there's no need to really settle in anywhere.'
And then I thought 'but I could sit on the sofa; I like doing that, right?'
And now I am snuggled up on the sofa with a cozy blanket, and I'm next to the cat sleeping on her comically enormous bed, and I can see the sun lighting up the trees outside even though it's cloudy, and it's genuinely delightful.
So this is a reminder to my future self: it's worth it to settle in! Get comfortable! It's up to you to build opportunities for comfort and delight into everyday activities! (Also I love you, and remember to stay hydrated!)
