LET'S DO THIS
Jan. 10th, 2026 08:20 amOne of my goals for January is to finish the blanket I started crocheting sometime last summer. I clearly remember thinking to myself 'surely changing colors every row won't be THAT BAD.'
But changing colors every row IS THAT BAD. (Okay, no, it's fine. But it breaks the flow! It's a pain! There are SO MANY ends to weave in! I don't love it!)
[NOTE TO MY FUTURE SELF: don't change colors every row]
ANYWAY I got about two-thirds of the way through the blanket in the summer-ish time, and then switched to some other projects, like my office blanket, and a bunch of wristies, and then another lap blanket, and then another big blanket, and then my December advent crafts...
(The other big blanket is ALSO not done -- I'm using it anyway, with the stitch markers still in place at the corners, lol.)
But I want to finish the summer blanket! I'm going to do it! I've been working on it again off and on for the last few weeks, and I think I'm pretty close. Maybe not 'finish this weekend' close, but maybe yes???
