*There are five Mondays in November, which gives a last-minute buffer day after the final writing weekend.

*I did not get to 15,000 yesterday, but I did manage to get to the actual day’s word goal, which is kind of like a trick I played on myself, but on purpose?

*Current word count: 13,503

*Last line written: “It worked.”

*By adding asterisks and line breaks, it’s almost as if I have written a cohesive list, rather than a scattering of loosely related sentences.

It works well the other way too!

(So far all three versions of this mini-story have a more cohesive plot than my actual novel.)
