nano-break!

Taking a break from nanowrimo posting to say WINTER IS COMING! Yesterday, the apartment complex put in the parking lot and path stakes for the plows. Now that the leaves are mostly off the trees, and we have a cloudy, rainy day, it looks very wintry!

(Also, on Monday I saw that the shopping plaza nearby now has one tiny lighted tree out by their sign. Seems a little early for Christmas lights to me, but at least they’re starting small?)

The Silverware factory down the road from has been massively lit up for days. They were doing it in stages so every night we drove by and a new thing was lit up...

That sounds awesome! Since the first tree, there are now two more little trees lit up, as well as -- not even kidding -- the town name spelled out in lights.
