I will be seeing the new Star Wars movie this afternoon, so I decided to compile a list of ways I hope this viewing experience will be even better than the first times I saw the other movies!

Episode 4: I’m not sure how old I was, but I have a terrible visual memory for places, so it went completely over my head that the house that burned down was Uncle Owen’s house. Also, I really thought the jawas were going to be more important.

Episode 5: Cliffhangers, ugh.

Episode 6: Finally, that ewok stuffed animal that was a Christmas present from one relative or another (long before I’d ever seen the movie) made sense!

Episode 1: Well, I slept through part of it. In the theater. (It was a midnight showing, I was tired!)

Episode 2: I haven’t actually *viewed* it, in the most technical sense of the term.

Episode 3: I think we all know how it ends. Which is why I didn’t watch it.

Anyway, I think that sets up a pretty low-key set of expectations for Episode 7! If I can show up, stay awake, and follow the plot, I’ll already be coming out ahead!
