I’d really like to find some X-Men: First Class fic that didn’t involve this conversation:

Charles: I like you.
Erik: I like you too, but our love is tragic and doomed.
Charles: Yes, I know. Let’s have sex, then angst.
Erik: Fine by me.

Until that happens, here’s a Green Hornet fic I liked:

Werewolves of Los Angeles, by mischif
Britt’s sometimes an Irish Setter, and Kato doesn’t know (but kind of likes him better that way anyway). Then he gets bitten by a werewolf. Everything turns out okay, because not everything needs to be doomed and tragic.

The unexpected sound of a minor crash startled Kato, causing him to fumble with the gears he was painstakingly putting together.

“Britt?” He called, setting the project aside for the moment, automatically wiping his grease stained hands on a rag as he stepped around his work bench. “I’m going to kick your butt if that is you!”

Timing! Try this fic I picked up from seperis's journal. Post movie, Erik isn't in it except by name, and Charles is not as naive as he is often painted. Mildly depressing, but very very good.
