It has been a while since I had a totally at-home day (where ‘a while’ is ‘more than a week’). Pre-Florida trip, for sure. Which is probably why I couldn’t work up too much enthusiasm for going out and doing a walk somewhere today, even though it seems conceptually like it would be fun. Also, I’m signed up for a Thanksgiving 5K, and it’s supposed to be Really Very Cold that day, so that should count as extra outdoor time, right?

Anyway, hermit day, yay! No driving. Usually I don’t leave the apartment except for stuff like going out to the dumpster or going out on the balcony, which requires a minimum of face to face interaction with other people.

Besides, with snow on the ground, I’m feeling that urge to do some winter decorating. I rearranged the living room furniture to its winter configuration yesterday, and it is so cozy! Now I’m drinking tea and pondering the possibilities of the day. Decorating? Napping? Laundry? All of the above? Who knows!
