marcicatAbout 90% of the email that comes to my personal account is advertisements from mailing lists I’ve been too lazy to unsubscribe from. Every once in a while, I will be tempted by free shipping and sales to click through. In an attempt to make their emails stand out, companies seem to be going the extra mile to make their subject lines seem intriguing and fantastic.
Then there’s this.
“7 WAYS TO WEAR YOUR NEW FAVORITE PANTS”
It’s from Land’s End, so I’m pretty sure they really mean ‘please buy some new pants’ as opposed to some sort of Jack Harkness-esque innuendo. But really? Seven ways to wear pants?
It gets better. The promo code to take advantage of this deal is COOLER. Because, you know, people who know seven ways to wear their pants are pretty cool. Maybe even literally cool, depending on how creative they get.
