Hurricane Henri

marcicatIt's hurricane day! Sort of, not really. We're far enough from the landfall point that it'll likely be tomorrow before the storm passes over us, and at the moment the prediction is that impacts will be mild in this area. But wow, today sure has the Storm Feel!
Right now it's breezy, cloudy, and sort of misting -- hard to say if it's actually precipitating or if it's just the natural consequence of 99% humidity. It absolutely has that GET READY IT'S COMING feel. There's not a ton we can do / need to do in terms of getting ready, which is good in the sense of not being hugely at risk, but less good in the sense of trying to satisfy that GET READY itch.
(I have some pet stairs to assemble for the cat, and I'm planning to cook some food for lunches this week, and hopefully that will satisfy the urge to prepare and provide.)
