as one does
Sep. 19th, 2021 07:06 amI got an email about nanowrimo prep this week, and I thought, 'isn't it a little early? nanowrimo is SO FAR AWAY.' And then I realized that it's not still July, and the second half of September is actually not THAT far from the start of November.
Multiple times, I have set out to write a nano novel that is essentially conflict-less. And then I tend to get bored partway through and I introduce some sort of conflict or action element just to keep writing (even though it's pretty much always just a misunderstanding of some sort, haha).
(All my stories are the same story. I'm sure that story says something about me. Maybe even something beyond 'I like cats.' Though that's not a bad thing to put in the world, you know?)
