marcicat*Ahahaha we have a company 'town hall' meeting today.
*Good thing: One time they did a random trivia question in the middle of the meeting and I won $25. So I guess there's always a chance some enjoyable prize (::cough:: money ::cough::) will come from it.
*Bad thing: It's kind of like the Charlie Brown Christmas special, right? We already know the company doesn't care about us; why do we have to have a big meeting to emphasize it?
*Zoom thing: Being on video is not mandatory! So there's definitely a potential opportunity to do some stretching or tumblr-browsing at times.
*Random thing: The current CEO is much less prone to making bonkers comments during town hall meetings than the last one, which is I guess kind of reassuring, but definitely makes them less interesting to attend.
*BEST THING: It's possible the cat will sit in my lap during the meeting, which is always a work-from-home highlight.
