some thoughts

marcicat*Should have mentioned that the yarn-n-glue craft also involved GLITTER! It was approximately 10,000x messier than I expected, but also fun, and early results (it takes a LONG TIME for that much glue to dry) look pretty promising.
*Today's craft is a little felt tree -- theoretically it will stand up on its own! I'm excited; we'll see how it goes. I'm wondering if I can use the colored pins from yesterday's craft to 'decorate' the tree (ideally without setting myself up to get stabbed by pins when I pack the tree up after Christmas).
*In happy cat news, after four days of skeptical investigation, Maggie entered her new cozy cat cave all the way and slept in it for quite a while. (She likes it! I'm SO GRATIFIED!) ((Honestly, it's adorable; if it came in people sizes I think I would want one too!))
*I've lost a sock this week, somehow. I usually take my socks off when I go to bed and toss them on the floor -- one would think that the missing sock is somehow mixed up in the bedding or somewhere around on the floor, but so far I have not been able to locate it. MYSTERY SOCK, COME BACK PLEASE!
*To walk, to cook, or to nap? That is the day's dilemma. Realistically I probably don't have the time or energy for all three. But you never know!
