Last week on probably Monday or Tuesday, I happened to be one of the first people to show up on the team check-in call, and my newest coworker asked how things were going. This coworker seems willing to say the quiet parts out loud, as the saying goes, and they seemed about the right age for it, so I said, "Have you ever seen the movie Office Space? Kinda like that."
(We were deep in the heat advisory days at that point, and I was not having a good time. It still seemed wiser to be vague -- it's always good to keep some plausible deniability about which PART of the movie it was kinda like.)
They laughed and said they had not seen the movie, but that people keep telling them they should. I'm very curious how it plays for someone who's never seen it. It's a very 1999 movie.
