marcicatOne of my coworkers invited me to get lunch with them today, which is one of those social interactions I barely participated in even pre-pandemic. But they were super nice about it -- figuring out an area that would mean we both drove about the same amount, and then agreeing with my suggestion for the restaurant. (A place I've eaten before, which takes out a lot of the stress.)
Mostly I expect they will share lots of pics of the grandkids, and I'll share lots of pics of my cat, and we'll both complain about work a bit, and then we'll go on our way. Best case scenario, we'll both feel happy to have had the experience, and will also be happy to wrap it up.
Step 1: take an at-home covid test. (Now, to *find* our at-home covid tests... I'm sure I tidied them up just recently!)
