the sun returns!
Oct. 27th, 2022 06:19 am*Sunshine is back today. Forecast says it will also be heckin' wimdy (not a direct quote).
*The cat really liked her new catnip toy from the grocery store -- it's always a guess when it comes to what she'll play with vs ignore forever, so it's especially gratifying when something seems to be a winner.
*Workplace Halloween Bingo is today. The timing may or may not work out for me to attend (it's less 'fun workplace event' than 'grit through it because it proves you're wiling to *be a team player* and also you might win $25 and that's for sure not nothing'), but we'll see.
*In nanowrimo prep news, there's a virtual write-in today (11:30 am PDT). I haven't done one yet this year, but in 2021 they were very low-key, very enjoyable -- it's on youtube so there's absolutely zero pressure to interact. I just enjoy watching people be excited about things!
*In personal nanowrimo prep news, it currently appears that I have about half a story idea, and then absolutely nothing for the second 25,000 words. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that, but I have ::checks calendar:: several days left to panic about it.
