marcicatSoooooo... after reading the Red, White, & Royal Blue book, I though to myself 'but what about the fanfic?' And I was NOT disappointed. Apparently many, many people had a similar thought, and then went out and did something about it. And you KNOW I love a good AU. Or any AU, mostly. (Especially space pilot AUs! This is not the space pilot AU rec, because that's still a WIP.)
BUT WHAT IF THEY WERE BOTH PROFESSORS AND THEY WENT TO A CONFERENCE TOGETHER AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES! (And also one of them writes gay romance novels and the other one is a fan!)

"You didn't introduce him as your arch-nemesis," Nora points out, breaking away from their whispered argument to order them both a cocktail.
