summer hours are OVER!

I love when summer hours start at work. I also love when summer hours END at work.
(Summer hours: for a while during the summer, employees can leave work at 1 pm on Fridays, as long as they make up the missing hours earlier in the week.)
Mostly summer hours mean I try to clock in an hour early (technically, 48 minutes extra each day would do the trick). It's fun to have something at work that's remotely similar to summer vacation, and I enjoy the novelty of it.
(My understanding is that the salaried employees have the potential to get a bit more benefit from it, as their "making up the hours" isn't actually tracked like it is for hourly employees. It's a little silly for everyone, because it's not like the hours from 1-5 on a Friday afternoon tend to be a productive time in offices, NOR are they productive when people sprinkle them throughout the week as 'makeup hours.' BUT I DIGRESS.)
The point is: they're over! Back to clocking in at 9 instead of 8, yay!!!
