Soooo... we are going on a trip later this week, which I'm very excited about! We have friends joining us for this trip, which is also very exciting! Said friends will be staying over at our house the night before and night after the trip (extremely logical choice; I support it) and my brain has just suddenly realized that it has no idea what to make of that situation.

We've never had guests here! (I also never had guests at my apartment. Seven years! No guests! I am also now realizing that this says some things about me as a person, things which perhaps I had not intended to discuss in this post.)

The point is, what do guests need??? Towels??? Blankets??? Food??? Truly, the mind boggles. I have zero frame of reference for this. Clearly I am about to have a week full of learning!

[PS: They'll be fine. I have complete confidence in our ability to provide a reasonably adequate guest experience. ]
