a TV show!

Watched the first two episodes of Murderbot last night, and it was fun! I don't think I have anything to say about it that hasn't already been said, but I'll add my absolute support for the 'thank goodness it's well-lit' comments. You can see things!

(Subtitles ABSOLUTELY necessary [for me], though. The volume was all over the place, which -- yes, I know that's realistic, but it's not convenient for my viewing experience, lol)

In no particular order, some other random thoughts:

*aw, they're great! look at those people communicating and providing each other a positive social network!

*lol SECRET MEETING!

*so, I read the book, and I watched the episodes, and I admit I still have no idea what they're doing on that planet -- they're a survey crew, and they're definitely surveying it, I get that, but why?

Strong agree on the subtitles! There's a lot of dialogue happening in the background; I'm not sure if the show requires actually hearing it, or if it's just meant to be there as background, but it's sure nice to actually know what's being said.
