back to work!
Sep. 18th, 2023 07:07 amAfter five blissfully enjoyable days away from work, it's time to log back in and see what's been happening at ye olde workplace!
Here are my predictions:
*At least one project I'm working on has been put on hold or canceled. (Bonus prediction: I won't actually know about it for several more days, when someone thinks to notify me.)
*At least one project that was a crisis when I left has suddenly been resolved (most likely by one of the other teams doing something they previously said they absolutely couldn't do).
*At least one project that was a 'low priority' is now a crisis.
*At least 50% of the emails waiting in my inbox can be deleted without reading.
*At some point in the day, I'll have a minor breakdown over the amount of work that's waiting, and I'll have to remind myself that I'm not required to catch up on ALL of it in just one day.
