marcicatI spent a WHILE reading stuff from my fic rec tag, and also a lot of time crocheting this week, so this morning I thought to myself 'hmm, there might not be that much to pick from when I look back through my A03 history for the week.' Hahaha yeah, it turns out that was not true. APPARENTLY I did a lot of staying up late reading instead of sleeping this week also.
Since 2023 was the year I first watched & read 'Red White and Royal Blue,' here's another IN SPACE! AU. (Yay!!!)

Henry practically growls at him, and Alex feels something in his stomach turn over. It’s not fear. “You just exited orbit on thrusters.”
Alex blinks at him. “Yeah? That's literally always how—”
“Do not tell me you always leave orbit on thrusters, for the love of Christ.”
“I don't feel like we should start this partnership out on a bed of lies,” Alex says breezily, and Henry looks like he'd quite like to throttle him.
