surefire stress test

Things:

-a lightbulb in my bedroom is burned out

-I am unexpectedly working on both of my scheduled days off to cover for a coworker who just found out about a death in the family

Stress Level:

It must be high, because both of these things automatically got the same level of HORRIBLE CRISIS DISASTER I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS. I’m going to be in big trouble if I run out of jam or something; that will probably flag the same crisis level, at this point.

Question:

When will I do laundry? (I can just imagine, next week: ‘Sorry, can’t come to work. Have run out of clean clothes. Must stay home to do washing.’)

OMG That almost happened to me! I had started my laundry over the weekend and ALL my work shirts were in there, but I had company all weekend, so I was distracted and never finished it, so Monday night I'm just like OH CRAP!!! I air dry everything so I was worried it wouldn't have time to dry. I just pulled out one shirt and luckily I had some clean jeans cause those would have never dried. As it was, I went to work with my coller still slightly damp.

And that's totally more than you ever wanted to know about my laundry.

I have done this! Usually with me it is pants -- the waistband is still damp? Oh well, just tuck in a shirt and it'll dry eventually...
