*ah yes, knotted half-double crochet! it's a very fast stitch, which is fun
*I have not started the second new project, because I'm not bored with the first one yet (but I *did* pick out all the yarn for it... I'm hoping a good sale comes along so I can get it all at once)
*last night was cool enough that I put my crochet blanket on the bed and it is SO COZY I LOVE IT
*I expect that by the time winter rolls around again, the bed will just be buried under a pile of blankets, which I'm pretty sure is #livingthedream
*last night my right wrist started clicking when I crocheted, which was mostly a surprise because it made me realize it hasn't been doing that recently; luckily I was about to switch back to lefty mode anyway
*hahaha yes it took me until this blanket to figure out that you can literally just turn the blanket around and then you're set up to use the opposite hand
*in my defense this is not the case with amigurumi, where my lefty crochet journey began
*also one of the reasons I wanted to be able to do lefty crochet was specifically so I could AVOID having to awkwardly flip over the blanket when it got big and unwieldy (this has yet to actually work out for me, but THEORETICALLY it is possible)
