marcicatOn Tuesday, I made my second attempt at getting an absentee ballot. Figured out that I needed to fill out a form! Printed out and completed the form! Showed up at the town office while it was open! And a very friendly person in the office took my form, confirmed my voter registration, and provided an absentee ballot. Just handed it over, no questions asked. I even got an explanation of what I was supposed to do with all the paperwork attached to it, which was super helpful.
AND! I also met a friendly dog in the parking lot. I caught someone's eye as they were encouraging their (huge!) puppy out of their truck, and they were all 'do you want to meet my dog?' and I was like 'I SURE DO!'
(This may seem suspiciously similar to my previous attempt and meeting a friendly cat, but the town really is just Like That.)
CONCLUSION:
Actual objective: achieved!
Overall outcome: unqualified success!
