marcicat1. THANK YOU to all the people who helped me out today on the icy roads. Yes, I was on them for work; yes, I have snow tires; but my car needs some momentum to get up that hill. Thank you to the pickup truck who covered me as I backed down the hill to get a running start. Thank you to all the cars who waited *way* back (on the other hill) so I *could* back down it. And thank you to all the random cars at the top of the hill — I don’t know what you were doing, but thanks!
2. Wintry mix = INSTANT CONVERSATION. “They shut down the Turnpike!” I braved an extra few curves (but no more hills) to get my Panera fix, and the gossip was well worth it. Fun times!
3. DECAF — my first experience. Totally disappointing. They were out of light roast *and* dark roast, and so my choices were decaf or hazelnut. Next time, I’m going with hazelnut.
