After the SUMMER READING ADVENTURE, I've continued to poke around at pro-published books, including audiobooks, to surprisingly good results. Suddenly I found myself wondering 'have I been sleeping on an excellent entertainment opportunity???'

Which is how I found myself reading a book late into last night -- interesting world-building, interesting characters, decent chemistry between the two romantic leads... And then the book ended. APPARENTLY it is a four-book series. A check of the summaries indicated that the two leads may not even work things out until the LAST book. (I mean, I hope they do! Good luck to those two!)

But mostly my brain was like WHAT NO. That was SO much book, and they didn't even have a conversation, really! WHAT WAS THAT? ::grumpily rearranges the fanfic hoard to comfort myself::

Sure! It was 'Only Bad Options' by Jennifer Estep. (Fair warning, the fourth book isn't released yet. And definitely no offense intended towards the book or author -- if I'd been paying attention to the 'four book series' thing, I would have been more prepared!)

Thanks! I just listened to the start of the audiobook -- it sounds like fun, at least. I'm not sure I can commit to a four-book series, though. :-)
