work for the lols
May. 22nd, 2012 07:49 pmSometimes, at work, companies will send us free samples of stuff. Usually this is a pretty awesome perk. However, sometimes companies’ ideas of “awesome free samples” differ (a lot) from mine.
Case in point: Today’s “freebie” was an empty white plastic bottle, about an inch tall, sort of like the world’s tiniest (empty, mind you) bottle of bubble stuff. It came in a plastic ziploc bag, with a sticker on it that says “Free gift for you! It’s the exclamation point that really makes it special, I think.
I’m not totally sure what the *point* of a free gift like this is. It’s really too small to put anything in, and the teeny tiny opening would make it hard to get anything out again even if it did fit. It… shows that the company can make tiny plastic bottles?
And yet, I find it strangely charming.
